Most of Eric’s 20+ years career has been about providing public services to the deaf, deafblind and hard of hearing through the state agencies of the deaf and hard of hearing. He served the Kentucky Commission on the Deaf and Hard of Hearing (KCDHH) and Massachusetts Commission for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing (MCDHH) and Indiana Deaf and Hard of Hearing Services (DHHS) in different capacities. He was the Director for the Washington State Office of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing (ODHH) for 12 years. He founded the National Association of the State Agencies of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing (NASADHH) in 2006 and is currently its Treasurer. Eric joined the Virginia Department for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing (VDDHH) in 2016, first as Deputy Director (2 years) and currently as Director (5 years).
