Sean Maiwald, MPP is a lecturer in the Masters of Public Administration program at Gallaudet University. He teaches a variety of courses, including leadership courses, such as a leadership roundtable that connects many key leaders with students at Gallaudet University. He has a wide range of experience, from drafting the legislation to establish the Office for the Deaf, DeafBlind, and Hard of Hearing in Washington DC, and has served as President of the DC Association for the Deaf from 2021-2023. Sean also is a social entrepreneur, establishing a business for social good. He holds a Masters of Public Policy degree from The George Washington University.
